I have also tried to do it with the router, but did not get it to work. Trying to setup adguard add on and Im getting this error 4 17:02:05 fatal Couldnt start forwarding DNS server, cause: couldnt listen to. I have both tried to get one of the devices to block the ads, both on the computer when putting the HOME ASSISTANT IP adress as the DNS servers and on the android phone without getting anything blocked: .xxx Gateway adress: .x (router IP adress)ĭNS server: WHAT should I put here? Tried with both the home assistant adress, Ad Guard IP adress, 8.8.8.8 etc.
IP Adress/netmask: .xxx/yy (home assistant IP adress) In Supervisor network settings, I have setup the IPv4 as static. I have set it up and the Ad Guard home shows that it is listening to the following addresses: 1xx.xx.xx.1.
So I have been trying to get AdGuard Home to work on my PI3 Home assistant.
